Leviticus 17

Leviticus 17 mandates that all blood sacrifices must be brought to the tent of meeting to YHWH, prohibiting the consumption of blood, which is the life of the flesh, and forbidding eating meat with blood or carcasses of animals torn by beasts.[3]

Verse 15 וְ/כָל 𐤅/𐤊𐤋 vekhal And any and whole of HC/Ncmsc נֶ֗פֶשׁ 𐤍𐤐𐤔 nefesh person breathing being HNcbsa אֲשֶׁ֨ר 𐤀𐤔𐤓 asher who that-which HTr תֹּאכַ֤ל 𐤕𐤀𐤊𐤋 tokhal eats you will eat HVqi3fs נְבֵלָה֙ 𐤍𐤁𐤋𐤄 nevelah a carcass decayed carcass HNcfsa וּ/טְרֵפָ֔ה 𐤅/𐤈𐤓𐤐𐤄 uterefah or torn prey predator-torn carcass HC/Ncfsa בָּ/אֶזְרָ֖ח 𐤁/𐤀𐤆𐤓𐤇 baezerach among the native native-born one HRd/Ncmsa וּ/בַ/גֵּ֑ר 𐤅/𐤁/𐤂𐤓 uvager or the sojourner and in the resident-foreigner HC/Rd/Ncmsa וְ/כִבֶּ֨ס 𐤅/𐤊𐤁𐤎 vekhibes he shall wash and he laundered HC/Vpq3ms בְּגָדָ֜י/ו 𐤁𐤂𐤃𐤉/𐤅 begadayv his clothes his garments HNcmpc/Sp3ms וְ/רָחַ֥ץ 𐤅/𐤓𐤇𐤑 verachats and bathe and he washed HC/Vqq3ms בַּ/מַּ֛יִם 𐤁/𐤌𐤉𐤌 bamayim Amanzi (Zulu) in water in the waters HRd/Ncmpa וְ/טָמֵ֥א 𐤅/𐤈𐤌𐤀 vetame and be unclean and he became unclean HC/Vqq3ms עַד 𐤏𐤃 ad until up to HR הָ/עֶ֖רֶב 𐤄/𐤏𐤓𐤁 haerev the evening the mingling-evening HTd/Ncmsa וְ/טָהֵֽר 𐤅/𐤈𐤄𐤓 vetaher and he shall be clean and he became pure HC/Vqq3ms
