YHWH hardens Pharaoh's heart; Aaron's staff becomes a serpent and swallows the magicians'; YHWH turns Nile water to blood, but Pharaoh remains unmoved.[5]

Go Go to toward Pharaoh Pharaoh Pareoh in the morning in the morning behold Look! he is going out one going out to the water the waters and you shall stand and you shall take your stand to meet him to meet him on upon the bank of edge-of the Nile the river the Yeor and the staff and the staff which that-which was turned he was overturned into a serpent to a serpent you shall take you will take in your hand in your hand
