1 Peter 4

Peter urges believers to arm themselves with Christ's attitude of suffering in the flesh, ceasing from sin to live for the will of God rather than human lusts, rejecting past pagan debauchery, and expecting judgment while using gifts to serve one another earnestly in love and hospitality.[1][2] Amid end-times urgency, he exhorts sobriety for prayer, fervent love that covers sins, and enduring suffering as Christians with glory to God, committing souls to the faithful Creator.[1][4]
