Isaiah 59

Isaiah 59 indicts Israel for sins like violence, lies, and injustice that separate them from YHWH (vv. 1-8), followed by their confession of transgressions causing darkness and hopelessness (vv. 9-15a). YHWH, seeing no intercessor, intervenes with His own arm for salvation, dons vengeance, and promises a Redeemer (*go'el*) to Zion who establishes an everlasting covenant of the Spirit and words (vv. 15b-21).

As for me and I this this one is my covenant my binding covenant with them them says he said the LORD Yahweh Yahweh My Spirit my breath-spirit which that-which is upon you upon you and My words and my utterances which that-which I have put I placed in your mouth in your mouth shall not not depart they will withdraw from your mouth from your mouth nor from the mouth of and from my mouth your seed your seed nor from the mouth of and from my mouth seed of seed your seed your seed says he said the LORD Yahweh Yahweh from now from this time onward and until and up to forever hidden age
