Deuteronomy 26

Upon entering the land, Israel must present **firstfruits** to the priest at YHWH's chosen place, reciting a creed recounting their ancestry's affliction in Egypt, YHWH's deliverance, and gratitude for the land flowing with milk and honey. In the third year, they declare faithful tithing to Levites, strangers, orphans, and widows, affirming obedience to YHWH's commandments and requesting His blessing on the people and land.

When for/because you have finished you will fully complete to tithe to take a tenth (direct object marker) object-marker all entirety of the tithe tenth-portion of of your produce your yield in the year in the year third the third year year of of tithing the tenth-portion and you shall give and you shall give to the Levite to the Levite to Leviyi to the stranger to the sojourning foreigner to the fatherless to the fatherless child and to the widow and to a widow and they shall eat and they consumed in your gates your gateways and be satisfied and they became satisfied

and-you-shall-say and you said before to the face of the LORD Yahweh Yahweh your-God your Mighty One I-have-removed I burned up the-sacred-portion the holiness from from the-house the built-house and-also and also I-have-given-it I have given him to-the-Levite to the Levite to Leviyi and-to-the-sojourner and to the resident sojourner to-the-orphan to the fatherless child and-to-the-widow and to a widow according-to-all as the whole of your-commandment your directive that that-which you-have-commanded-me you commanded me not not I-have-transgressed I crossed over from-your-commandments from your commands and-not and not I-have-forgotten I forgot
