Zechariah 5

Verse 1

Then I turned and I turned back and lifted up and I lifted my eyes my eyes and looked and I saw and behold and look! a scroll rolled scroll flying he flew

וָ/אָשׁ֕וּב 𐤅/𐤀𐤔𐤅𐤁 vaashuv Then I turned and I turned back HC/Vqw1cs וָ/אֶשָּׂ֥א 𐤅/𐤀𐤔𐤀 vaesa and lifted up and I lifted HC/Vqw1cs עֵינַ֖/י 𐤏𐤉𐤍/𐤉 eynay my eyes my eyes HNcbdc/Sp1cs וָֽ/אֶרְאֶ֑ה 𐤅/𐤀𐤓𐤀𐤄 vaereeh and looked and I saw HC/Vqw1cs וְ/הִנֵּ֖ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh and behold and look! HC/Tm מְגִלָּ֥ה 𐤌𐤂𐤋𐤄 megilah a scroll rolled scroll HNcfsa עָפָֽה 𐤏𐤐𐤄 afah flying he flew HVqrfsa

Verse 2

And he said and he said to me toward me What what? you you see seeing one And I said and I said I I see seeing one a scroll rolled scroll flying he flew its length its length twenty twenty cubits by a forearm-measure and its width and her width ten ten cubits by a forearm-measure

וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said and he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ֔/י 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me toward me HR/Sp1cs מָ֥ה 𐤌𐤄 mah What what? HTi אַתָּ֖ה 𐤀𐤕𐤄 atah you you HPp2ms רֹאֶ֑ה 𐤓𐤀𐤄 roeh see seeing one HVqrmsa וָ/אֹמַ֗ר 𐤅/𐤀𐤌𐤓 vaomar And I said and I said HC/Vqw1cs אֲנִ֤י 𐤀𐤍𐤉 ani Ine (Bemba) I I HPp1cs רֹאֶה֙ 𐤓𐤀𐤄 roeh-2 see seeing one HVqrmsa מְגִלָּ֣ה 𐤌𐤂𐤋𐤄 megilah a scroll rolled scroll HNcfsa עָפָ֔ה 𐤏𐤐𐤄 afah flying he flew HVqrfsa אָרְכָּ/הּ֙ 𐤀𐤓𐤊/𐤄 arekah its length its length HNcmsc/Sp3fs עֶשְׂרִ֣ים 𐤏𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌 eserim twenty twenty HAcbpa בָּֽ/אַמָּ֔ה 𐤁/𐤀𐤌𐤄 baamah cubits by a forearm-measure HRd/Ncfsa וְ/רָחְבָּ֖/הּ 𐤅/𐤓𐤇𐤁/𐤄 verachebah and its width and her width HC/Ncmsc/Sp3fs עֶ֥שֶׂר 𐤏𐤔𐤓 eser ten ten HAcfsa בָּ/אַמָּֽה 𐤁/𐤀𐤌𐤄 baamah-2 cubits by a forearm-measure HRd/Ncfsa

Verse 3

and he said and he said to me toward me this this one the curse the oath-curse that goes forth the one going out over upon the face of face of all all of the land the earth for for/because every all of who steals the one who steals from here from this according to it like her shall be cleared he has been acquitted and every and whole of who swears the oath-swearing one from there from this according to it like her shall be cleared he has been acquitted

Verse 4

I have sent it out I brought her out declares solemn utterance of the LORD Yahweh Yahweh of Hosts organized hosts and it will enter and she came to toward house house-of of the thief the stealer and to and toward house house-of of the one who swears the oath-swearing one by my name in my name falsely to the falsehood and it will lodge and she lodged in the midst in the midst of of his house his built-house and consume it and she utterly finished him and and object-marker its timbers his trees and and object-marker its stones his building-stones

Verse 5

Then the angel went out and he went out the angel the messenger who was speaking the speaking-one with me — and said and he said to me toward me Lift up Lift up! now please your eyes your two eyes and see and see! what what? is this that goes out the one going out this this one

and behold and look! a talent round-circuit of of lead dust-metal lead was lifted up to be lifted and this and this (feminine) a woman woman one one sitting she who dwells in the midst of in the midst of the ephah the grain-measure

וְ/הִנֵּ֛ה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤄 vehineh and behold and look! and he said and he said this this one wickedness wickedness and he cast and he hurled it her into toward the midst center of of the ephah the grain-measure and he cast and he hurled the object-marker stone building-stone of lead the lead upon toward its mouth her mouth

Verse 9

Then I lifted up and I lifted my eyes my eyes and saw and I saw and behold and look! two two women women coming out going-out ones and wind and wind-of in their wings in their wings and to them and toward those-there wings a pair of wings like wings-of like wings of the stork the stork and they lifted up and they lifted up [direct object marker] object-marker the ephah the grain-measure between between the earth the earth and between and between the heavens the lofty-heights

Verse 10

Then I said and I said to toward the angel the messenger speaking the speaking-one with me — Where where? they they carrying leading (feminine plural) — object-marker the ephah the grain-measure

Verse 11

And he said and he said to me toward me to build to build for her — a house house in the land in land of Shinar Shinʿar Shinear and it shall be established and he was made firm and she shall be set and she was placed there in that place on upon her base her established base

וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר 𐤅/𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 vayomer And he said and he said HC/Vqw3ms אֵלַ֔/י 𐤀𐤋/𐤉 elay to me toward me HR/Sp1cs לִ/בְנֽוֹת 𐤋/𐤁𐤍𐤅𐤕 livenot to build to build HR/Vqc לָ֥/הֿ 𐤋/𐤄 lah for her HR/Sp3fs בַ֖יִת 𐤁𐤉𐤕 vayit a house house HNcmsa בְּ/אֶ֣רֶץ 𐤁/𐤀𐤓𐤑 beerets in the land in land HR/Ncbsc שִׁנְעָ֑ר 𐤔𐤍𐤏𐤓 shinear of Shinar Shinʿar Shinear HNp וְ/הוּכַ֛ן 𐤅/𐤄𐤅𐤊𐤍 vehukhan and it shall be established and he was made firm HC/VHq3ms וְ/הֻנִּ֥יחָה 𐤅/𐤄𐤍𐤉𐤇𐤄 vehunichah and she shall be set and she was placed HC/VHq3fs שָּׁ֖ם 𐤔𐤌 sham there in that place HD עַל 𐤏𐤋 al on upon HR מְכֻנָתָֽ/הּ 𐤌𐤊𐤍𐤕/𐤄 mekhunatah her base her established base HNcfsc/Sp3fs
