Malachi 3

YHWH announces sending His messenger to prepare the way for the Lord and Messenger of the covenant, who will come suddenly to His temple as a refiner's fire and launderer's soap to purify the sons of Levi for righteous offerings[1][2]. YHWH calls Israel to return to Him, accuses them of robbing Him in tithes and offerings, promises abundant blessings upon obedience, and distinguishes between the righteous who fear Him and the wicked on the day of judgment[1][2].
