and reached and he touched the word the spoken-matter to toward king king of of Nineveh Nineveh Nineveh and he arose and he rose up from his throne his throne and he laid aside and he caused to cross his robe his majestic mantle from upon him from upon him and he covered and he covered over with sackcloth coarse sackcloth and sat and he sat/dwelt in upon ashes the ash-remains

and he cried out and he raised a cry and he said and he said in Nineveh in Nineveh in Nineveh by decree from discernment of of the king the king and his nobles and his great ones saying to say man the earthling and the beast and the beast the herd the cattle and the flock and the flock let not upon / over taste let them taste anything any marked thing let not upon / over graze they will shepherd and water and waters let not upon / over drink they drink

and let them cover themselves they will cover themselves with sackcloth coarse-woven sacks the man the earthling and the beast and the beast and let them call and they will call to toward God mighty ones earnestly with forceful strength and let them return and may they return each man man from his way from his path the evil the evil and from and from the violence the violent wrongdoing that that-which in their hands in their cupped palms
