3 John 1

The elder (ὁ πρεσβύτερος) writes to Gaius (Γάϊος), commending his walking in truth and hospitality to traveling brothers, while rebuking Diotrephes (Διοτρεφής) for pride, rejecting apostolic authority, and expelling supporters; he praises Demetrius (Δημήτριος) and plans a visit.[1][2]
