1 Chronicles 18

David defeats the Philistines, subduing Gath and its villages, Moab who become tribute-bearing servants, Hadadezer king of Zobah capturing chariots and gold shields dedicated to YHWH, receives tribute from Tou king of Hamath, and through Abishai subdues Edom in the Valley of Salt placing garrisons there.[1][2][3] YHWH grants David victory wherever he goes, with spoils consecrated for the temple, establishing stable rule and fulfilling covenant promises.[1][4][5]
